Giving back to communities in West Houston

At RBC Wealth Management, we are dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we live and work through philanthropy, volunteerism and responsible stewardship. We are very proud that our financial advisors in the Houston Memorial branch actively support the causes they are passionate about. We invite you to explore the information below to learn more about our community involvement.

Adopt a family

This holiday season, our office adopted a family in need with three small children (ages 8, 7 and 5). Everyone in the office was so eager to make a difference for these sweet kids, that we were able to fill their lists and do even more! It was a privilege to help make the holidays a bit brighter for them and it was definitely a highlight for everyone here in the Houston Memorial branch.

Houston Food Bank

RBC Wealth Management has volunteered hundreds of hours at the Houston Food Bank to help with food insecurity in the nine counties of the greater Houston area. In 2020-2021, the challenge of food insecurity cast a wide net due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on joblessness in our community. Houston Memorial Branch Director, Terri Edwards, along with RBC has made support of the Houston Food Bank a focal point of its philanthropic efforts.

Bad pants. Big heart. RBC sponsored golf tournament helps local newborns

RBC Wealth Management is committed to improving the well-being of families in the communities where our employees and clients live and work. The RBC Wealth Management Bad Pants Open supports the research, treatment and care of critically-ill and premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Texas Children’s Hospital. For over 20 years, the tournament has benefited the Newborn Center at Texas Children’s Hospital, raising more than $7 million in that time for the organization. Visit this page to learn more.

Lunch for medical workers

The Houston Memorial branch recently provided lunch to medical workers at CHI St. Luke's Hospital’s Quality Infection Control Department. The department has been on the front lines of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by supporting hospital staff and patients in their efforts to decrease the transmission of illness and contracting disease. We cannot thank this group of individuals enough for their dedication to our community and stand in awe of their bravery during these challenging times!
